Travel and Safety

Before traveling, we strongly recommend that you obtain comprehensive travel insurance which will cover all overseas medical costs, including medical repatriation/evacuation, repatriation of remains and legal costs. You should check any exclusions and, in particular, that your policy covers you for the activities you want to undertake.

There is an ongoing outbreak of a novel strand of Coronavirus that has originated in Hubei Province and its Capital City, Wuhan, which has spread to several Chinese provinces and other countries, including Japan, Thailand, France, and the United States. The Chinese Government is actively monitoring the spread of the novel Coronavirus and is releasing statistics daily on the extent of the outbreak.

Travelers and residents should take particular care to observe food safety and travel precautions and the wearing of single-use masks, regular washing of hands with an alcohol-based soap is strongly recommended by the World Health Organization.
